Hello! Welcome to my very lame begginer's web page. My name's Robin, aka Prime minister Idunnowhateva, Robeen, The master of good and evil, Satan, Robidabobidabin, the one you love to hate, the 'Shman (As in, Freshman), and the artist formerly known as, whichever you prefer. I'm 14, female, and live in California. I attend Carlmont High School as a freshman. I like reading, playing sports, singing, hanging with my friends, roleplaying, and talking on AIM, where my handle is (what else?) DewmProfet. I currently roleplay on A New Threat MUSH (Multi-User Shared Hallucination), which is Star Wars themed, set after the battle of Hoth. Check it out with a telnet client, at starwars.pennmush.org, port 9999.
Description:
I'm about 5' 7", with brownish-red hair (yes, dyed. I had fun :-)) almost to my shoulders, and hazel eyes. I usually wear jeans and a strange T-shirt. My t-shirts are my joy, and I pride myself in not having any plain ones. I'm just proud of the little things...it keeps me happy. My humor runs a little on the sarcastic side (well, okay, a LOT on the sarcastic side), but I like to think of myself as basically a nice person. My favorite music is rock and alternative, though I like pretty much everything except for hard core rap and most country. I like fantasy books, especially the Sword of Truth series, by Terry Goodkind. I'm currently waiting for Soul of the Fire to come out in paperback, because I'm too cheap to get it in hardcover.

Okay, so my bio teacher assigned us this bogus question to answer: What is life? Now, after thinking about the many ways I could get out of it, I decided to give her an answer...my way.
What is life? That is a question not easily answered. As the great computer, Deep Thought, stated, the answer to life, the universe, and everything is 42. This, however, does not tell us what, in fact, life actually /is/, though there has been much usage of this in Oolon Coluphid's philosophical blockbuster, _Well, That About Wraps it Up for God_, where he states that life created itself. My theory, though, is that if the answer to the great question of life, the universe and everything is really 42 (and, since Deep Thought is the most powerful computer ever built, there can be no doubt), then life itself can be extrapolated from this, since 1) Everything must be 7, since 7 has been proven to be the universal lucky number, and we know that since everything is lucky to exsist at all, everything must equal 7. There are three elements in this problem, life, the universe, and everything, so you multiply 7 by three, to get 21. Life and the universe must coexist, each helping and using the other, so this is 2. Multiply the 2 by 21 and you come up with 42. So, if you subtract 1(the universe) from 2, it leaves you with 1. In this way, life is 1.

A tough looking little girl, obviously about 10 or 11 years of age, though her stature would suggest otherwise, bringing her up at perhaps not four and a half feet in height and maybe 70 pounds in weight. However, she looks muscular enough, for her age. Her unkempt blonde hair is tied back in a messy ponytail, though much of the hair has some loose and hangs in her face; however, her face looks clean, like she's just had a bath. Her expression is often neutral, not showing her emotions unless she wants to as she peers out at the world from steel gray eyes, eyes with a strange look about them, perhaps indicating something abnormal about her past. However, when she smiles, it can light up a whole room. When she stands relaxed, her whole body seems to indicate displeasure, her arms crossed over her chest and her body slouched.
She wears a grey jumpsuit, slightly baggy on her but more or less her size, with pockets for various things on it, though none seem to be full. The legs end over scuffed, worn black sneakers.
Background:
Aryn was born on Kosari, to Lyle and Emily Sage, the younger of two children. Her brother, Jacob, was six years older than her, enough to be very protective of his younger sister but not so much as to not be good friends with her. From the time she was very young, Aryn idolized Jacob, and wanted to be exactly like him. Jacob didn't mind too much, and let her tag along with him and his friends most of the time when they hung out. Consequently, Aryn didn't have many friends her own age. She didn't care, however, because most of Jacob's friends thought of her as a younger sister, to watch out for and not let get into trouble. All his friends liked her, because of her friendly personality. A natural leader, Aryn was never intimidated around people older than her, and she was stubborn; not bratty, but persistent, so that if she wanted to do something, nothing stopped her from doing it. Aryn never went anywhere alone; she always had at least one or two older kids with her.
Jacob and Lyle were at odds most of the time. Jacob didn't have good friends, he was getting behind in his studies, he needed to spend more time with the family...all those things that teenagers argue about with their parents. Jacob, however, became very angered by this, and spent more and more time outside the house. Most of the time, Aryn went with him. He didn't talk about their parents in front of her, but she could hear them arguing late into the night when she was supposed to be asleep, Emily mostly staying out of it but when she did take sides, it was always Lyle's side. She didn't want her parents to be angry at Jacob; she was closer to him than with anyone else in her family and she didn't want to lose him, because she had heard him threaten that he would leave. She knew Jacob loved their parents, but was resentful at them for trying to control his life. However, Aryn got used to the fights, and just spent more time with Jacob.
Aryn hated school. She learned quickly enough, but like most little kids, would rather have been anywhere then sitting still in a classroom. For most kids, this is normal, and they deal with it, but for Aryn it was sheer torture. She much preferred running in the streets, sneaking around, or organizing wars, mock battles in which she was always general of one of the armies. Jacobs friends were usually ready to oblige, even at the indignity of playing with someone much younger than them. Through these, Aryn got to be fast, quick, and very good at hiding and not being found. She always had extra energy, able to push herself to do things, especially physical, that people though she couldn't do.
Finally, when she was about 10, she couldn't stand school anymore, and refused to go back. Her parents, extremely angry with this, blamed Jacob for making her too much 'like him'. They said that he was giving her ideas and that if he wouldn't stop, they would send him to boarding school where he couldn't corrupt her. This was all he could stand, and Aryn knew it. he stormed up to his room, and she followed him, begging him not to leave. He told her it was for her own good as well as his sanity. She told him that if he was going, she was going with him. He looked at her and knew that she was telling the truth. The strongest thing about Aryn was her determination, and he knew that he couldn't stop her if she set her mind to it. So, that night, they both slipped out of the house, and were free. Aryn, now 11, roams the streets with Jacob, living a perfectly happy life. They had each other, so who else did they need? However, it was too good to last. Aryn and Jacob were living in the bad part of Kosari, not able to go anywhere else. One day, while they were going back to the place where they slept, a bunch of people jumped out at them. They wanted Jacob to join up with their gang. Jacob said he wouldn't, because he had to take care of Aryn. But they wouldn't take no for an answer, and started a fight. Jacob tried his best, but it wasn't enough...and he got so badly beaten that he died. Aryn was heartbroken. She ran to him, and in his last breath of life, he said to her, "I'm sorry..." Aryn started to cry, but her brother's killers just laughed at her. They bet her, as well, though not as bad as her brother, to teach her a lesson, they said. She stopped crying right then. She vowed from then on that she would never cry again, never let people see that she was hurt. She lives by that now, never let people see that you've been hurt. She still lives on the street by herself, hardened by what she's seen and felt. She won't go back to her parents, so her life seems to be in a set path at the moment.
Post-IC:
One day, while roaming the streets of Kosari, Aryn met up with a pilot named Krivnal Yendi. Aryn took an immediate liking to him, and he offered to let her fly with him on his ship. Aryn agreed instantly, and they ended up going to many places together. One of these places was the Rebel Alliance capital ship, the Hyperion. Aryn made many friends there, and wanted to stay, so on of her friends, a pilot named Tanis, took her to see the admiral, Danul Lantree, to plead her case, as it were. At first Danul was reluctant to let her stay, saying that a warship was no place for a child, and worried about the dangers of battle. But Aryn was not to be deterred, and begged him to let her stay. Finally, he consented to bring up the issue with the Rebellion council, though he didn't promise results. Aryn was happy with this answer, and contented herself to wait for the outcome.
A few days later, another pilot, though one Aryn didn't know, named Lahn Stoyds, got captured by the Empire and imprisoned in the Tatooine garrison. One of Aryn's friends, a man named Simm, had a plan to get him out. Aryn was to pretend to be Lahn's daughter, and perhaps strike some pity in an Imperial, preferably one of the guards. Even if she didn't, the distraction might be enough to get Lahn out before they noticed. The plan worked perfectly, and Lahn was rescued, and Aryn thought that would be the last she heard of him. However, Lahn, hearing of her life and situation, decided to adopt her, making her his legal daughter. Aryn, was ecstatic at this news, since she met him and liked him very much. Lahn was also going to propose to a pilot named Christy Douglas, and so Aryn acquired a father and maybe a mother, all in the same day!
